Salmon Beyond Borders is a coalition representing the communities of Southeastern Alaska who are at the mercy of toxic mines sitting just across the border in Canada. Just a few years ago, a mine failed unleashing a flood of toxic waste across the region. We created a video documenting their struggle in an attempt to encourage policymakers to work together with leaders across the border to enact stronger regulations.
